Book 2 of the Inn at the End series

The time has come. The world has ended. Hell has been unleashed on Earth.

One last refuge is the Inn of Kadinger, now run by the ancient Watcher Nergal. Other residents include his brother and guardian Nasiru, a dark stranger named Bullet, and an ancient daughter of an insane Erudite.

At the core of the Inn is a gateway to another world, but no one knows where it leads. Does it lead to the Third Heaven? New Earth? Or someplace else? Someplace far worse?

In any case, a strand of string material near the gate is the only thing keeping Earth hanging from the Old Heaven and falling into the furnaces of Old Hell. Demons fight and take souls as they please, but two immortal warriors still stand outside the gates of the Inn, fighting off the Demon Horde. As prophecied though the Gate will be breached, the Strand cut, and those at the Inn will either have to make a stand or retreat into the unknown.
